Self-Care and Collective Care for Community Resilience

SCoRe

The project Self-care and Collective care for Community Resilience is an Erasmus+ funded project that is initiated by grassroots initiatives in order to bring attention to the importance of self-care and collective care as a part of day-to-day practices that are established by two feminist organisations FemLink (Vienna) and Genderhood (Greece). The project envisions collective care as an essential part of social justice work and it stresses the importance of resilience within groups, collectives, and organizations. The project consists of the following steps:

-Research of self-care and collective care practices

-Lowering the level of stigma associated with the concept of self-care, defining collective care as an essential practice that have to be integrated in every operating social justice structure

-To provide a space for a participatory exchange for participants during the collective care exchange laboratory that took place in Kamena Vourla, Greece in April of 2024

-Artistic Zine is a magazine of artistic practices that highlights the project outcomes as well as gives some practical tips, exercise, and inspiration practices on how care can be practiced in your group.
